Cameron and Alex have decided to use Paisley - Peking to raise funds for the Glasgow Based charity Sanctuary in the City. Cameron is one of their patrons, and Alex has been friends with founder Ruth Box for several years.
Sanctuary is set to be a trendy, 24/7 Christian café bar staffed by well-trained Christian youth workers, and by skilled catering staff. Opening 24 hours a day, 7 days a week it will become known as a good place to eat within the city centre. Its distinctive feature, however, is that it will also be a place where young people can find information about any issues that concern them - social service resources, drugs help and advice, career and vocational training information and, of course, spiritual help. Christian youth workers will be on hand to sit with customers and listen to their questions and problems, offering advice and information as required.
Sanctuary in the City is a Scottish registered charity SC035816 and a company limited by guarantee.
Registered Office: Mitchells Roberton Solicitors, George House, 36 North Hanover Street Glasgow, G1 2AD
